About the
Project
Objectives
As a Raipur based company Shri Ganesha Global Gulal is a unique story of manufacturing, marketing and even being worldwide exporter of Holi colours (Gulal). Today quality Holi colours are much in demand and specially so in the European, US and other advanced nations. Shri Ganesha, over the years, not only became one of the largest players in India but also captured substantial export markets. They have skin-friendly colours devoid of harmful chemicals, organic colours and easy to wash colours. They come in beautiful natural colour tones and perfumed to attract all kind of users.
Shri Ganesha Global Gulal never had a very strong brand identity and most of their packaging designs lacked professional finish. Plus, their logo design was not strong enough to stand out in the packaging designs and neither so in the shelf. The brand recall was poor and they had to struggle to make the brand speak for itself in their on-ground activations.
Strategy
Agency was tasked to developed a composite logo design and stationery design. Along with that the agency had to develop a new brand’s packaging design for their natural range of colours. For that the task was to develop the branding, text and the conceive the packaging design of the same.
Execution
Agency studied the packaging portfolio and understood that the new logo had to maintain uniformity and hence create a template that would make the logo must stand out in whatever colour background is used in the packaging as most of the pack designs were very colourful. Even the material used were different from each other. The brand was positioned as “We make your life Colourful’. The new product was branded as ‘Amora and a very unique and premium standi-pack was devised meant for both the domestic and international markets.
After the success of the same, agency undertook the new website design for the brand. The website needed to appeal and promote awareness for Shri Ganesha product range in the international markets. Agency also helped Shri Ganesha to expand its portfolio in the Rangoli products and a new design was developed for their product Alpana Rangoli colours.
